The best, life-long advice I received over the past year was, “Let It Go”! |

I never realized that these three simple words had such an impact on my life by not allowing myself to let things go and how drastically my life changed when I actually implemented this strategy daily.
At some point, you just have to let go, stop wasting all that negative energy and move on. It is one of the hardest things you will ever do, but you can by mustering all your strength to finally let go. Some things and people just are not meant for you, no matter how much you wish they were. Our tendency can be to focus on “what used to be” and idealistically hold on to the past as if it had everything we ever wanted. Just know that is okay for things to not work out. No one’s life is a straight line and makes perfect sense. So when you find yourself agonizing in that moment when things are out of your control would change, muster all your strength to let go and start heading in a new direction as it will lead you closer to your true path. “Letting Go” is the key to true happiness.
As we let go of our winterization season and clearly focus on spring, Service is really gearing up with goals to complete all Indoor Storage work orders, including spring work, and to finish our winter work orders for any outdoor storage customers. We have hired new personnel in all departments to help complete our goals and with lead times in the spring. The Marine Store has started their parts stocking program in early February to help alleviate any part shortages.

Leadership is not about forcing your will on others. Leadership is about mastering the art of letting go. Close some doors not due to arrogance, pride or incapacity. Simply because they no longer lead anywhere. Accept what is, Let Go of what was, Have Faith in what will be. Learn to Let Go. That is the key to happiness.
